Hot Tub Delivery
I had an issue with the delivery at first, but we got it worked out. I had to have the spa sit in my drive for a few days before they could get it done. The issue was it wouldn’t fit through my arch gateway. It had to go on it’s side to go through the gate, and it was too tall to fit through without hitting the arch. They had to bring it around the side of the house from the vacant lot next door. They needed special equipment for this., and thats why I had to wait the extra time with the hot tub sitting in my drive. Even though I was not all that happy at first about having to wait. I’m glad they did the right thing and came back to make it happen. In the end, they completed the service I paid for, and went out of their way. I can’t be but so mad about that. I haven’t hooked it up yet, but if its all its made out to be, I’m sure it’ll be a game changer for my wife and her arthritis.

Worth every penny
I love my hot tub. We got a small one; Barefoot Spas PR5. I want dot write this review because we have been very happy with the spa. Even though it is smaller in size, it still has a lot of power. Barefoot Spas is made in America which we like also. Worth every penny. The PR5 is perfect for us.

Our Barefoot Spas we bought at the convention center show
My wife’s an registered nurse, and she carries a lot of stress in her back and also her feet. We decided it was best to get a hot tub with the most power, and strongest jets to help with these issues. We looked at Costco, and also Sundance and Master Spas. I’m a Costco addict, but after looking at the quality and reviews, we steered clear. The Sundance we liked was way out of our budget.

We went with Barefoot Spas which was also WAY out of our budget at the store. We actually found a Barefoot Spa at a convention show. It was about 35% less than the one we saw at the store. We jumped right on it! The Barefoot Spa we bought (ML7 model) has the most pressure out of any hot tub I’ve used or tested. My wife loves it and so do I. I only wish we would’ve gotten a better cover for it at the time. We did not upgrade to the more expensive cover even though they asked us if we wanted it. Kind of kicking myself now. We will probably have to replace it in less than a year as it already has a tear in the outside sewing. Other than that, the Barefoot Spa is well worth every penny nickel and dime we spent. We are happy customers. I hope this review helps someone considering Barefoot Spas!

Great spa – lots of jets – good customer service
My husband has owned a few hot tubs in his time, but I never have. It took me a while to make my decision. I wanted tomato sure the spa has everything I need (water massage for arthritis symptoms along with sciatic nerve issues). We decided to purchase the Barefoot Spas PL8. It is a great spa. My husband says it is twice as good as the other spas he owned. The PL8 has certification for therapy. We love it. The lounge is great for focusing on my sciatic issues. all the other seats in the spa feel great. The main thing is it reduces inflammation in my joints. I am in less pain as a result. The ozonator is built in to the spa and it does not require maintenance. We like that. We use a lot less chemicals that I thought we would. I recommend Barefoot Spas, especially the Barefoot Spas PL8 if you are having to manage pain on a daily. It has been fantastic for us! I also want to mention the customer service has been a delight as well. They have helped us with a few things my husband couldn’t figure out.

Spa delivered late, not acceptable!

Spa delivered late, not acceptable
I am not happy with the delivery of my hot tub. I was told I would receive my spa and all parts of my order quickly and within 3 days of my purchase. I could understand if the delivery was tight and off by a day, but it took almost an entire week to get my spa. I spoke with the delivery guy 3 times. He kept scheduling. They told me living far away would not be an issue, but apparently that is not true. Not happy at all about this. I had to postpone a work trip just so I could take delivery of my hot tub. Then, to make matters worse, they also told me I HAD TO BE THERE IN PERSON. Turns out, I just needed someone 18 years or older to sing for it. My nephew lives right around the corner and I could’ve gotten this done with no headaches, but due to being misinformed, my schedule got all jacked up, and I have nothing to show for it but a hot tub that is not hooked up and just sitting in my backyard until I get home from this trip next week. If I had to do this again, I would pick the damn thing up myself. instead of dealing with all this BS!

December of this year will be two years of ownership of our Barefoot Spa PR5
I purchased my Barefoot Spa almost 2 years ago. We have the Barefoot Spas PR5. At that time, the layout of the spa is a little different than it is on the website. Looks like they changed the jets around a little. We love our hot tub the way it is. Its a perfect size. Fits just right on our second story deck. We ordered some new balancer for the spa last week. Remembered I needed to write a good review for Barefoot Spas. The customer service is pretty good too. They helped us out on multiple occasions trying to figure out the best way to work the spa.

Get the right power hook up for the hot tub

Get the right power hook up for the hot tub
First off, let me just say that the delivery company for my Barefoot Spa was really really good! Couldn’t be happier with that. We bought a Barefoot Spas ML7 at a show a the fairgrounds. While the delivery was easy, it’s important to know that you can’t just plug the thing up and jump in. It takes a really big cord and a special hook up. Didn’t know this. It all worked out in the end, but anybody looking at getting one of these big ones, most of them are plugged up this way come to find out. It was a little inconvenient for us. When we bought it, they didn’t say anything about it. We had to call all over the place to find someone who could finally do it. 3 days later after we got to stare at it, we got it hooked up, filled up and jumped in. Just saying… you need to hook these things up right. Keep this in mind ya’ll!

I am a proud owner of an American made Barefoot Spas hot tub
I am not the kind of person who buys the latest and greatest from a rule. However, when I learned more about Hot Tubs and the way they have progressed over the past few years I could not resist. There is almost no maintenance I need to do with my Barefoot Spas ML7. We absolutely love it. The guy at the pool store gave us a great deal we got one that was on display at a discounted price. I’ve dealt with Great Atlantic and I’ve also dealt with Barefoot Spas the manufacturer. All of which have been very accommodating and they have helped us a lot because this is our first hot tub and we need a lot of advice. One thing we really liked too was they are American-made they also have a really good warranty. We read a lot of reviews about Barefoot Spas before we purchased and we didn’t see a whole lot talking about how they are American-made. This is extremely important to us. I am a veteran of the US Navy. I support the American economy as much as I possibly can. When I looked deeper into research I found a lot of other parts of manufacturers say they are American made and they actually are not. They are only assembled in the USA but they import all of their parts. Barefoot Spas are made in Virginia we also live in Virginia that was the nail on the head for us. So happy we decided to get a good spa that’s American made and we can stand by it knowing that we support our economy.

Wonderful experience
I’ve had an absolutely wonderful experience buying from Barefoot!
I bought my tub at an expo event and happened to make my purchase on the day they threw in free delivery, a very durable cover, some spa steps and a start up package including a few light chemicals.

My salesman, Spencer, was very conscious of my wife’s therapeutic needs and found us a tub specifically designed for back and shoulder pain.
All in all, aside from having to hook up a 220v line my buying experience has been great!
