barefoot spa warranty
The barefoot spas warranty is good. That’s what sold us. We did have to place a warranty claim due to a small leak in the pump connector. Very small leak dripping, but I’m glad I caught it becuase it coulsve caused some serious damage.

We had to go through a process to get it fixed. It was a couple calls, sending pictures, filling out a form, and also being home for the guy to come and out do that patch repair. There was a scheduling mistake that was a little annoying, but overall, it was a reasonable process to go through. The tech was nice, and even gave us some advice on a few other things regarding the hot tub and the cover. The nice thing is, we still have three years left (3 of 5) on the parts warranty so we are good to go for a while longer in the event that something happens.

Barefoot Spas is a gorgeous hot tub. We love the way it looks and the way it feels too. Been using it now for a few years and no problems except the cover we had to replace it.

Really good tub

The barefoot spas 7NP is good spa. We have it 2 years. It well built and good to use when before sleep and after the work. If I choose one thing as complaint I change the cover we use is not as good quality as old tub was. but we like the barefoot very much and love the seats and the not use of maintenance to take good care of it.

Great Tub

I have owned a 77NP for two years. I love it. I live in MA and I’ve walked out side with sub below 0° temperature with a foot of snow on top of the tub. Wipe the snow off and open it up and the tub was 104° and felt so relaxing being able to warm up quickly.

Barefoot spa purchase

My wife and I bought a barefoot spa at the spa show local to us. We are quite satisfied with the spa and the delivery to our backyard. Also customer service has been helpful. One small issue we’ve had is the lid of the spa has special buckle clips on the corners that secure the lid to the actual spa. This is one of the things we really liked about the spa. Only problem is, ours is missing part of the buckles. I called barefoot spas and they said the misplaced part is on back order. So, we will be waiting several weeks to get the missing pieces sent to us. In the meantime, I’m worried the wind will blow the cover off and send it sailing because the cover itself is very lightweight. My solution was to put several bricks on top. Looks really bad! Hopefully it will be a temporary solution and we will soon get our missing pieces!

Here’s an update to my review. Barefoot Spas got the part back in stock quickly, and delivered it to me via priority shipping. I received it today. The clips were easy to install and they work great. The clips even have a key locking mechanism which I was unaware of. Nice feature.

Amazing!

Barefoot Spas service and our hot tub has been amazing! We got referred to Barefoot Spas from friends of ours who were referred from their friends. I guess a great reputation goes a long way! They have been fantastic in taking care of us when we had a few small things we needed help with. The install delivery guys were really good too. My salesman Denny still calls to check in on us! Now that’s service!

We love using our Barefoot spa. We got a different hot tub cover for it because we like the way it lifts up with the handle bars for easier access. The new cover is flat out awesome! Much better match to the hot tub itself. I recommend barefoot spas to everyone. Well worth it, and worth the money!

Damaged merchandise
We got a Plug & Play Barefoot Spa. We have it set up in our sun room. It’s a 110 plug-in and doesn’t have to be hardwired in to the wall. It has a good number of jets. 20 something I think. Everything was fine, but we had some minor problems with the in home delivery. They damaged the cover box during transit to our home. They put the cover on the truck wrong with the straps, and the wind on the truck made the straps damage the cardboard. They told me there’s nothing they can do about the damage to the box. The cover itself didn’t have much damage, but we are worried it might have done something to the foam side the cover. I hope this doesn’t create problems in the future. We had a washer dryer unit delivered once where the packaging was damaged and later the dryer stopped working. Again, I hope this doesn’t happen to our hot tub. It was the delivery people who were at fault though, and not Barefoot Spas. The spa has been great. Feels so good to have relaxation in water back in our lives. We’ve just got our fingers crossed about this cover thing.

Wonderful experience
I’ve had an absolutely wonderful experience buying from Barefoot!
I bought my tub at an expo event and happened to make my purchase on the day they threw in free delivery, a very durable cover, some spa steps and a start up package including a few light chemicals.

My salesman, Spencer, was very conscious of my wife’s therapeutic needs and found us a tub specifically designed for back and shoulder pain.
All in all, aside from having to hook up a 220v line my buying experience has been great!

My review of the Barefoot Spas B7
Barefoot Spa is put together well. It has withstood the test of sub zero temperatures here in Buffalo for two years now. I’m glad I got the good cover as an upgrade because from what I’ve read thats one of the most important features on a spa for energy savings in cold months. My Barefoot Spas B7 has been great. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but more comfortable than my old one that had a stereo and lights, etc. My B7 has a light, its just not on the water line. Its down on the bottom. Still changes colors though. It doesn’t really matter. I bought the spa to help me feel better, not impress the neighbors 🙂

Made in USA quality
We wanted a very basic but functional American made spa. Our last one was imported from China (I think, definitely not American made), and it was a piece of junk. We dont care about all the water spouts and fancy lights. Controls are easy, and spa is easy to maintain. We had a slow start with getting the spa here and with contacting the right people to hook it up, but now all is well, and we’re loving it. I am a contractor by trade and I can tell this is a well built product. I talked to a few folks at Barefoot Spas and learned a lot. We are very impressed and happy now with our spa!

Energy Savings
We purchased our new home about this time last year. When we moved in there was an old… VERY OLD Barefoot Spas on the patio. I think it was from the 90’s. It still worked, and we actually used it a few times, but I could tell it was taking a lot of energy to run it, and we researched that there’s a lot more energy efficient spas now. We called Barefoot Spas and had them go over some differences between the old style of energy savings, and the new insulation they use. We decided to go with Barefoot Spas again. They put us on the repeat customer program… even though we didn’t actually buy the first one …. shhhhhh! We got a great deal, and I’ve noticed an energy savings on our power bill of a significant amount since we added the upgraded unit.

Energy efficient insulation
We live up in Vermont. And in case you didn’t know, up here there is a serious amount of cold and snow in the winter time. We drove all the way to western Mass to get our tub at a show, and decided on Barefoot Spas. Main reason is the insulation. Our old spa that is no longer with us, and died a slow painful death, was absolutely horrible in the cold. We were paying over $120 a month to keep the thing running! We were not about to let that happen again. Barefoot claims they have the best insulation in the world. I don’t know if I would go that far, because I’ve only owned two hot tubs. I cant compare it to all the hot tubs in the world, but I do know our new hot tub is saving us close to $80 a month! Lesson learned! With hot tubs, its best to not go cheap! The second time around, we wised up, spent some money, got something that’s gonna last, and I don’t have to take out a loan to pay my power bill!

Great hot tub
We’ve spent three weeks enjoying our new Barefoot spa 2 person PR5. It got here in perfect condition. It heats up really fast. It also stays very clean with the filtration and the built in ozone purification system. Beautiful lighting from background colors to an entire light show. Def something we like, and didn’t think we would like it when we bought it, so that was a nice surprise. The Barefoot Spa has been a very good investment for my wife and I so far. We use it for relaxing, and also to treat some minor aches and pains from arthritis. We recommend doing the same if considering a smaller hot tub and nee treatment for pain.

Not what we expected

We love our Barefoot Spa. It has treated us well, and while the ENTIRE family doesn’t use it like they once did, my husband and I still enjoy it regularly. The only complaint we really have is that we were told we wouldn’t have to drain the water as much as we are currently. We are averaging twice a year, but my husband and I are convinced our sales rep said we would rarely have to drain it (like maybe once a year at most). That doesn’t really matter I guess because we’ve gotten used to it. Still it wasn’t something we expected. Another thing we didn’t expect was how easy the inside shell part is to clean when drained. It rarely gets dirt and grime stuck to it like our old one. Even while the water is in it, the shell stays very clean… not at all like the bath tub. This we have been very happy with, as we’ve heard horror stories about yucky stuff hanging out on hot tub surfaces. One of those stories came from our neighbor. They bought a cheap one they found online. Glad we didn’t go that route. Might just keep that bit to ourselves… hee hee…

Perfect little hot tub for the two of us

Our Barefoot spa tub is called the PR5. It is the perfect little hot tub for the two of us. We bought a very big hot tub spa at first years ago. This time around we knew we didn’t need that big again. The kids have grown, and now its just the two of us. Truth be told, our kids rarely used it anyways. I can’t remember too many time when we had more than 2 people in it at once anyways… The PR5 is also good because it has very powerful jets. It also doesn’t require much maintenance. You don’t have to really do anything to it to keep it running. I do recommend keeping the cover on it. I’ve left it off before for a couple days and thats not a good idea if you can help it. We got back from a long weekend and the water level got pretty low and full of leaves and dirt. It is nice that you don’t have to put a lot of chemicals in the water because it has that water filtration ozone thing. Every time we’ve left the cover off by accident is the only time we’ve had to add chemicals to the water. Other than that, its been a breeze. Soak it up in a Barefoot Spa!

Owning a Barefoot Spa is like a massage parlor in my back yard
Sitting in my Barefoot Spas PB8 is like sitting in a massage parlor. The pressure is equal to a deep tissue massage. The LED lighting is very relaxing at night, and the lounge seat is quite comfortable. When I bought the tub, I saw less expensive ones, but I also heard bad stories about cheap hot tubs, and decided to go with the higher rated Barefoot. The cover isn’t all the best quality, but a year and a half now for the spa of constant use. So far so good!
