Excellent quality and pricing
We were skeptical at first, especially since we drove over an hour to get to the hot tub show at the convention center downtown. But once we got there, it was easy to see the excellent quality and pricing. We looked in several different stores for the right spa for the right price, and just couldn’t find anything we really felt worth our money. Finally we settled on the Barefoot Spas PL7. It has everything we need including, a full lounge, neck jets, fountain jets, foot jets, strong pressure, and overall high jet count. The salesmen at the stores and online said we would have to crane in the spa over our house which would cost close to a thousand dollars! Barefoot Spas was able to make it happen without a crane, which saved us a ton of money. They put the spa up on its side, and wiggled it around until it fit perfectly on my patio. This is what put me over the top. My husband and I were very impressed. No damage to our property, and the delivery crew was in and out in lesst than an hour. The only thing I would say bad is the cover is sub standard in quality. Our old spa came with a much nicer one.

The Barefoot Spas PB8 is a very comfortable hot tub… feels so good! It is very relaxing. Over all awesome hot tub! When I bought the Barefoot Spas PB8, the installation was included free of charge which was nice. WHen I bought my old hot tub, I had to pay for the delivery. This time I got it at the Rupp arena from a private company that does hot tub shows. THey were pretty thorough and quick with the delivery. Did a better job then the last ones did if I recall. It was just nice not having to pay extra for something that I need. I’m 68 years-old and clearly dont have the means to move something that ways over 800 pounds. I use the spa at least three times a week as recommended by my doctor, sometimes more. I’m happy every day I have this spa as part of my life. It is truly a blessing…

Wow!! Absolutely amazing! The foot jets are to die for. The hot tub is also so fun when I have company. We sip wine, relax, and just chat. The best addition to my cozy little home. We even went out in the snow the other night… didn’t even feel it. The glow of my outdoor fireplace lighting up the snow flakes was a nice touch. We could see our breath in the outside air, but inside my hot tub was nothing but warm and cozy…

Sucker screen broke off bottom of hot tub
I have a recommendation for the manufacturer to change the design of the sucker inner screens at the bottom of the tub. My daughter rested her foot on it and broke it off. We can’t get the plastic piece out now because it sunk to the bottom and is just stuck down there. Guess we’ll have to I wish they would’ve made the screen thing flush with the surface. Just seems a little fragile to have sticking out 3 inches right where your feet go. The spa is well built, but I just don’t get how they would make the plastic piece so easy to break off and so fragile. They are sending out a replacement because they said it was “defective”. Waiting not that… I guess we’ll see.

I did a lot of local and online research before buying my Barefoot Spa

I did a lot of local and online research before buying my Barefoot Spa and making this big purchase. I live near Nashville Tennessee. The prices a the local “hot tub dealers” were $15,000 and up to get the ones we liked. There was even one in there for 23k! Really a hot tub? 23k?? Yep. Sure was. I would never spend that much on a hot tub. you know the rest part? The one we saw for 23k had fewer jets and smaller pumps. It also did not have the fountain jet feature my wife liked.

We bought the Barefoot spa we bought the P-Series PB8, it is fantastic! Better than the one we saw in the store and online. We paid half the price as then in the store. We are very happy we took our time and waited to find this deal.

We ordered a hot tub from Barefoot Spas 1/26, and got it delivered 3/9. No problems there. It was about what we expected as far as time. Electrician had a hard time hooking it up. I didn’t have a certified Electrician install the double 50A 240W GCFI box. It was my friend and thats pretty much what screwed it up. Wish I would’ve paid a professionals to start with. Ended up having a pretty hefty electrical bill. Plus the cost of the deck I built I went way over budget. Got a good deal on the special order hot tub though and so far its been great

Love the tub… It’s my first one, and it’s been great for my life. Never new hot tub could be used for pain therapy. Sure enough I DO have far less knee and joint pain.

Can’t wait to show the tub off to my new neighbors. I wanted one that plugs up to the regular outlet, but my salesman talked me in to getting this one with the 220v plug, and glad I did. A buddy of mine down the street bought a tub with the regular plug, and he’s had some problems. I’m usually a cheap skate, but sometimes it pays off to spend a little extra and get better quality. I haven’t rubbed that in at all to my friend down the street. He does know he can come over to my house and use a real hot tub any time he wants though … hee hee

So far so good with Barefoot Spas

So far so good with Barefoot Spas. Great deal and we enjoy it a lot. It looks great in the backyard setting. We had some initial pump/elec. problems, but they were solved through customer service and our electrician. Customer Service was very patient and helpful with responding right away. I couldn’t always get through and had to leave a message a few times with they’re service department. I remember this being a minor inconvenience at the time, but since my problems were eventually fixed free of charge, we decided to live with it.

Finally got the spa hooked back up after having it drained for over 2 months. Filled up, and right away, it fired up. No doubt Barefoot Spas makes a quality, rigid, and tough tub that has stood up to even my abuse and negligence for over 4 years. Yeah, I haven’t really taken good care of it since I’ve had it… but hey, at least I’m honest!!

I spent over $10,000 on my new spa and it showed up with dirt and a footprint right in the seat. It took my husband a whole hour to clean it before we can even fill it up. not happy that all. The spa looks nice now but this is no way to get a new product delivered to your home. I admit I’m a bit of a clean freak, but we ended up cleaning the whole thing out just to make sure no one else put there hands or feet in it. We took the deal because it’s one they had there and a floor model discount helped save a lot of money, still would’ve rather paid extra to get one that wasn’t ruined with a foot print and dirt.

Turns out they had to bring all way around the house. It took close to two hours. We had to rearrange some things and move them out of the way we didn’t think we had to do that.It was disappointing. They said they would handle putting the hot tub where it needs to go. I have to take almost an hour out of my day to help for a service I paid for. Again the Barefoot Spa, it is really nice. I’m just disappointed with the delivery service that came with it when I bought it.

I bought my spa at the Collinsville spa show. very happy with the spa. The salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable. I paid about half price what other spas cost. I would recommend this company, and their products. The only drawback is the company is based out of Virginia. I live in Missouri. I do prefer to buy things local. However, I got a REALLY good deal on my PL8. Like I said, about half of the price compared to what I’ve seen. Also, I’ve called a couple times and they’ve been good at getting back to me. They tell me they have “service techs” in my area that would work on my tub if I ever needed it. That makes me feel pretty good. Still, wish I had a door to knock on if I needed one. At any rate, the risk reward was there for me because I got such a good deal. Hope it continues to pay off!

I loved the fact that I could get so much power in something so little. It has so much more power than my tub at my old apartment. I only have a small space to put the spa. Plus, I like the built in safety rails because my mom uses it sometimes, and she doesn’t want to drive to the YMCA to use the one there. We both don’t like chlorine. This barefoot spa doesn’t take much chlorine at all.

My salesman Maurice was very nice and very helpful. He got us the last little tub they had. Mine is called the Barefoot Spas PR5 they had at the show. He also came out to our house and measure the spot for me to make sure the spa would fit on my patio. Well, it did fit, and I’m so happy. That was very nice of him to go the extra mile for us. Thank you Maurice, and thank you Barefoot Spas!

But once we got there, we soon found out about the really good pricing they had and surprising quality of the Barefoot Spas they had there for sale. We shopped 3 different paces before we went in there and we weren’t really planning to buy. One thing we really liked was they figured out hot to do the delivery. The places said it would cost a lot of money $800 more on average to rent a crane. The best part is they got it done with no crane, and they did it for free! It was easy to have set up. Our electrician hooked it up in 20 min. It works very well, heats up quick and is everything I could ask for in a tub. My husband calls it our “stress free zone”… He’s right. Its hard to do anything than just relax when we’re in it! Melts away the stresses of the day!

I paid significantly less than I did for my first spa

I ordered a hot tub from this company back in 2014. I chose them because I found the spa at a factory direct sale at the fairgrounds. I paid significantly less than I did for my first spa I bought at my local pool company showroom. I knew I would buy something on the higher end because my first spa was very basic, and wanted upgrades in many ways, and an upgrade is what I got. The lay down lounge has jets that massage my legs, which my old one did not have. The spa has a total of almost twice the jet count. I have pain almost everywhere on my body due to arthritis, and there’s a seat for pretty much every pressure point on my back and legs… and neck the deepest seat has the neck and shoulder therapy. It feels great. My only complaint about that is I wish it was not as deep. I am 5’9”. This is fine though because I just keep the water level low in the spa so it doesn’t splash in my face. Just wish I got the one with the shallower seat. Still my Barefoot Spa is leaps and bounds of an upgrade past my old tub.

Aside from the jets, the spa itself is made of this white shell material that is very sturdy, and also doesn’t get dirty that easy. The siding is easy to keep clean and very tough. This sales guy even kicked it with his boot and it didn’t do any damage.

I’ve had the spa now for 3 years and I haven’t had any problems. Knock on wood!! I’d check them out before buying one off a random website like I almost did for a second time.
