My salesman Maurice was very nice and very helpful. He got us the last little tub they had. Mine is called the Barefoot Spas PR5 they had at the show. He also came out to our house and measure the spot for me to make sure the spa would fit on my patio. Well, it did fit, and I’m so happy. That was very nice of him to go the extra mile for us. Thank you Maurice, and thank you Barefoot Spas!

I was very disappointed with Barefoot Spas. I had a family reunion planned at my house, and used this as a deadline. I wanted to enjoy the hot tub with my entire family. It would’ve been a huge hit, I know it. We had almost 20 people here, and the spa would’ve gotten tons of use, but those plans fell short because the spa took 2 days before 8 weeks to get here!!!! I’m never doing business with Barefoot Spas again.
The worst part is, I called almost every week for an update, and every time they assured me, that the hot tub was right on schedule for the time they quoted. I can’t believe it actually took as long as they said. That never happens. The customer service is horrible. All I asked is for them to give me an update on my order. Cant they do this every day? I want an update every day on the progress. Did they give it to me?? No they did not! I invested a lot of money, and was very thorough, and called them I don’t know how many times, and still the spa showed up two days before the maximum time allowance! If you’re on a tight schedule (who isn’t these days?), then do not deal with these people! When I pay this kind of money for something, I expect it to be delivered well before the maximum time allowance at time of purchase!!!

The spa is not only relaxing but gives a very strong massage on my back where I need it. soreness, tension, even mental stress all seem to melt away in the warm waters of my Barefoot Spa.

My wife and I are both 73 years-old and we use the hot tub mainly to keep up with our health. It is very relaxing because when I get in there, the water and jets feel quite nice. I am practically disabled because of some knee and leg issues, and the hot tub has proven to be a help with that. It helps me the day after I use it, and reduced the pain and inflammation I get on average. My wife loves it for the same reason. She has some trouble getting to sleep at night. She just stared using it right before bed, and trust me, now she’s snoring in no time!

My Barefoot Spa makes my body feel real good after a long day of work, sore muscles, from what I do throughout the day. It makes me feel young again and not so old and achy all the time! I just started using it in the cold, and its so nice with the steam! From what I can tell, a Barefoot Spa should last a long time. It is put together pretty well. As long as you take care of it, and do a little maintenance from time to time, it should be just fine.
My Barefoot Spas ML8 model is white color on inside and grey on outside. My wife didn’t like the color at first, but now she doesn’t care anymore. We use the spa to relax, who cares about the color? No one else will care what it looks like. We were about to get a pool, but we settled for a hot tub for now from the pool store. It was expensive, but worth it for us. We deal with pain all the time and didn’t want to get something cheap. Go big or go home, and while you’re home… why not relax in a really nice hot tub! Barefoot Spas is the way to go!

I bought my Barefoot Spa MB7 because I was told it’s chemical free and it is not. I hate chemicals and I hate being lied to. What kind of chemical free spa do you still have to check the water with a test strip and add stuff to it every 60 days. I don’t want to, and I’m too busy of a guy to have to do this every couple months. Not happy.
The guy at the store denies telling me this of course. He says Barefoot Spas is 95% chemical free, but I know he said it because it’s the whole reason I spent all this money. His name is Jim at the pool and spa store next to the mall. Now he has my money and doesn’t care, and he wants to sell me some other crap to put in the water. Stay away!

I love my spa. It is the best massage for my feet and my legs. I can’t not believe I went so long without having one. Barefoot Spas is always very good to me. I had only 2 things I wanted, and they both in my Barefoot. I got foot jets, and I got the legs and hip jets. It is so nice. Thank you Barefoot Spas for a wonderful experience, and thank you for helping me when I call on the telephone to ask questions, and for being so patient with me.

This is a well built hot tub. I made sure of that before I bought it, because the last hot tub I had was a piece of junk! After a couple years the insulation was falling out, and the pumps both went out around the same time. It was a constant battle with that thing, and a battle i don’t have to fight anymore because this time I made a real investment and got a real hot tub.
My barefoot is built to last… I can tell. I’ve had it for about a year and I can already tell a difference in my electric bill with the mylar insulation they use now. Also, the pumps are bigger (5 hp I think), compared to my old one. When you open the spa up from the side, you can see how the frame is put together like a tank, and the mylar insulation completely wraps everything. I opened it the other night when it was cool out, and it felt like opening an oven door. I guess thats the whole idea. Sort of a greenhouse affect. Anyway, Im glad I found this hot tub. I already feel the benefits, and it’s leaps and bounds from it’s predecessor.

I bought this spa for my wife and I. It was hard to convince her to get one because she really doesn’t like hot water like I do. One of the selling features in our Barefoot Spas M series ML8, was the cool down seat. This is a seat on the side with no jets, and it sits up higher than the other seats. My wife is tiny. She’s 4’10″. I’m 6’4″… I know we’re not the same size. The salesman told us that even though my 13 year old son is taller than her, the cool down seat would still have her to where she wouldn’t over heat, and a good portion of her body would be “out of water”. This is not at all the case. The spa is DEEP! In the “cool down seat”, she is still barely able to keep her shoulders out the water. The other seats? Forget about it!
Thanks Barefoot Spas, now I get to hear an earful every time she uses the spa, and even when I use it! This is really something I wanted to avoid. I even bought her a hot tub booster seat, and she won’t use it. Now only I can use the hot tub, and not her. This doesn’t work out at my house. Stuck with a huge deep hot tub, when I could’ve gotten a smaller one that fit both our needs. Now I have to sneak out every time to use it so she doesn’t get jealous an nag at me. Thanks a lot Barefoot…

I can’t even tell you how happy I am with my new hot tub. I enjoy my Barefoot Spa so much. My grandchildren love it too. The jets on my back tickle my nerves and feel great on my hips. They love the little jets that make a waterfall. My hubby’s favorite seat is chaise lounge. He sits in there and pretty much doesn’t move. I caught him falling asleep last night when we were in it cause he was so relaxed. Everyone’s happy with our Barefoot Spa.

We’ve had our Barefoot Spa for over 2 years now. We use it to relax, and it works well to take the stress away. I’m getting older now and helps with the aches and pains of every day life. I have had a problem with the keypad screen of the hot tub. Occasionally, when I press the jets button when I first get in it, the keypad goes blank for a few seconds. Not sure if this is a malfunction.

I got a great deal on My Barefoot Spas M series MB7. I got it out of a tent at the sports complex. It was a blowout factory event. Seriously, it was a very good deal. I went in there eon my lunch break from work, and wasn’t even expecting to buy a spa, but the one I saw the same one in the store for literally twice as much money. They only had two of them, so I just went with it.
So Yes, I got a good deal, but that not the only reason for my Barefoot Spas review. The spa is fantastic. I was a little worried maybe something was wrong with it, and thats why they were so cheap… I mean I bout the thing out of a tent! It really is fantastic. I had a spa back in the early 200’s, and this thing is way nicer. I got the LED lights, 2 pumps, a lot of jets. I even got the thing where you don’t have to dump a bunch of chlorine in the water. I love my spa. If anyone gets to see this brand set up in a tent or whatever, do it! Get the deal! I’m glad I did!

I bought my spa at the show here at Blake’s pool and spa a few moths back. I really do like the hot tub, but that’s not the reason for my review. The reason is for BAD MARKETING! I don’t know what else they are trying to sell me, but since I purchased I’ve been getting spammed in my email to buy this or that, chemicals etc. My spa doesn’t even take chemicals! I tried removing myself from the email subscription several times, but I still get the emails. I tried calling an they claim they don’t know whats going on. I used to work for a marketing company and this is very unprofessional. I don’t have time for this. Again, the spa is great, but poor marketing completely changed my opinion of this company.

My Barefoot Spas was recommended to me by a friend at the gym. I’ve been using it more and more lately. It helps post workout to break down lactic acid in my muscles, and it shortens my recovery time. I have proved all of this already and I;ve only been using it for like 2 months. Wish I would’ve known this trick a year ago…

Since having our Barefoot Spas, it’s helped my wife’s life better than it has to mine, because she wanted a space to relax for her arthritis in her hip. I haven’t had problems like that, just some sore kness little bit.. But it has helped fix two problems for both us and we’re both pretty happy. It’s a good value and we enjoy our Barefoot Spa.

I don’t know if this is a warranty issue, but one of my jets already broke. I’ve only had the spa for 3 weeks. Not happy about that. I called the service tech on the phone, and first he said it’s my water causing the jet to break, didn’t even listen to me, and told me to drain the spa and start over. I had to raise my voice a little for him to understand what I was saying. I’ve worked in customer service before, and I know how it is. People complain, I get it, but you have to listen too! A girl at the same place called me back later in the day, and it looks like it is a defective jet. Well, I would hope so! I’ve owned the thing less than a month! They said they’re sending out a new jet tomorrow, and I should get tracking info. We’ll see if it gets here…

We got the Barefoot Spas PL8 and it fits great in our backyard patio. However, a few things have happened with the spa itself. The first thing was the screw for the siding stripped almost immediately. I have never seen screws strip so easily. I had to remove the siding 5 or 6 times because I had some problems when I first got it because I filled it the wrong way and got an airlock in my pump.
Also, the cover flies off the hot tub like it has wings unless you strap it down. We have a strong wind come though from time to time. It does not say to lock the cover in the owner’s manual. (I read the whole thing), and I figured since the cover does have some weight to it that it wouldn’t take off in the air. Turns out I was wrong. I had no warning of this. A little heads up would’ve helped!

Dealing with Barefoot Spas was great all the way around. We had a bunch of questions when we got it delivered, and they were all answered when my husband called up. I was very impressed with how they called us afterwards to follow up to make sure we were taken care of. Customer service like that is hard to come by these days.

My brother bought a spa from Barefoot Spas 6 months ago and told me all about it. I bought the 7 foot square hot tub with the LED lights at the bottom, and the cool down seat with the jets on it.
When I dealt with customer service, they were helpful, but I would not recommend Barefoot because I’m not happy with this product. I spent a lot of money and paid cash for my tub. They had to special order my hot tub, and I think that’s what caused the mix up. There was supposed to be a big lens at the bottom of the spa near where your feet go that houses 8 LED lights. They called me and told me they had to change the LED lighting for me and I get a free “upgrade” for whatever reason. I told them as long as the LED light is still at the bottom I’m fine with it, but when it was delivered, there were only 4 tiny LED lights at the bottom all spread out, and the rest were up top by the water level. I thought it wasn’t a real big deal when they delivered it, but the whole reason I like more lights at the bottom is I like how it lights up where your feet go at night, and you can actually see your feet. When I turn it on at night theres just not enough light on the bottom like my brothers hot tub.
The rest of the spa is great. I was Surprised by some other things like how comfy the lounge seat is, and I don’t float out of it like I did in my old one. It’s just the one thing I REALLY wanted was the big LED lights in the bottom, and they had to screw that up for me. I hate it when manufacturers change things and don’t tell you. I understand they are trying to make the product better and let it progress, but I ordered the spa the way I did for a reason, and now I am stuck with something I do not want and I can’t enjoy the way I wanted to.
