Outstanding
What an outstanding hot tub!! We are proud owners of a barefoot spas (57LP model). We don’t have a lot of space, so we had to go kind of small. The dimensions on it are 5 ft x 7 ft roughly. Don’t let the size fool you. This thing is incredible, and packs a serious punch. Lots of jets, and most importantly, the jet POWER is like no other hot tub I’ve used. It almost knocks my wife out of her seat! We love deep tissue method for massage, and aside from going to a massage parlor, this is the next best thing. And to think, all of this is accomplished in a tiny little hot tub. We love it, and I recommend barefoot spas especially the 57LP if you’re like us and have to deal with a very compact space.

barefoot spa warranty
The barefoot spas warranty is good. That’s what sold us. We did have to place a warranty claim due to a small leak in the pump connector. Very small leak dripping, but I’m glad I caught it becuase it coulsve caused some serious damage.

We had to go through a process to get it fixed. It was a couple calls, sending pictures, filling out a form, and also being home for the guy to come and out do that patch repair. There was a scheduling mistake that was a little annoying, but overall, it was a reasonable process to go through. The tech was nice, and even gave us some advice on a few other things regarding the hot tub and the cover. The nice thing is, we still have three years left (3 of 5) on the parts warranty so we are good to go for a while longer in the event that something happens.

Very happy with Barefoot. Can’t say the same for the old company we dealt with (I will not mention the name), but they were god awful horrible to work with. Didn’t answer the phone, didn’t seam to care about our problems. It took MONTHS to get repair work, etc.

An improvement from that experience, really doesn’t say much, but needless to say, we are happy with not only the barefoot spas customer service, but the hot tub itself.

We have owned it now for 2 years. Only one minor problem that was resolved quickly. We also get calls from time to time by our salesman Johnathan (I think that’s his name). He “checks in” on us. He also, without fail, every time, asks us if we know anyone else looking for a hot tub LOL. I cant argue with that. I know the guy is just doing his job and trying to earn more business, but the last time I spoke to him I had to tell him to stop calling me for “check ins”. My husband gave me this evil look like I was being rude, but seriously, I don’t want to be hounded and have someone call me all the time trying to get me to call my friends and family and help him sell hot tubs.

All that being said, he was actually really helpful wen we bought the spa, and afterwards, when we had an issue, he helped facilitate getting it resolved. So not all bad, and I may actually refer a friend to him because he was actually super helpful. No pressure at time of sale, and lots of support after, not only from him, but also form the customer service department.

Barefoot Spas 57LP Review
Pure relaxation at its finest

We went with the Barefoot Spa 57lp two person spa because of its small size and our small amount of available space on the patio. The point is, we were hesitant to get a hot tub at this house because the small hot tubs we saw were just “not enough”; lack of jet count, no power behind the jets, uncomfortable, and so on.

We could tell as soon as we hooked it up, the 57lp is no joke in terms of power! We actually get STRONGER jets out of this compared to our old one which was twice the size! The hot tub boasts a very high jet count for it’s size, and the level of comfort is incredible. It has a lounge chase seat, and it has a seat with neck jets on it. This is a feature we did not see in any other small hot tubs, and its hard to find in big hot tubs as well. It feels amazing on my neck and shoulders. Pure relaxation at its finest!

We are very happy we decided to go with this brand, and this size. Our first hot tub was much larger, and while we thought we would do entertaining, etc, we really didn’t. Most of the time it was just me, or my wife and I. It didn’t take long to realize spending the money on a huge hot tub just wasn’t worth it. The 57lp is just right, and fits the two of us perfectly. Thank you barefoot spas for making a high quality, and superior product in such a compact design!

Sooooo excited!!!
We had a really great experience dealing with barefoot spas. They delivered the spa right where we asked and didn’t drop it off in our driveway like the last hot tub. We are soooo excited! We’ve only had it hooked up and running for 5 days, and we’ve been in there 7 times! It feels amazing!!

Our second barefoot
On our second barefoot spa now. We upgraded to the 2021 57LP from an older 2 person barefoot. We were hoping for at least the equivalent in quality, but we got so much more with this upgrade. It was hard to believe it could really get any better, but it did. The way we are now able to customize the therapy with removable jets, and more variety in the jet styles is also nice. The added “spinner jets” that give a percussion massage is fantastic.

Probably even more importantly, in our new spa, and new ozonator with UV, we do not use ANY chemicals! We were not using much in our old one, but with this upgrade we have now completely removed the use of chlorine, and all we use monthly is a balancer for PH, and a filter replacement every 6 months! Even with just using the minimal amount of chlorine levels in our old one, my wife’s skin would still get irritated. I am happy to say we do not have that problem anymore, and she is able to enjoy the therapy with no caveats, and no need for a shower afterwards.

Love it

Our friend who has a few houses has barefoot spa at every one of them; a few different models. We have ours for 2 years, and we love it. Everything has gone pretty well. At set up the breaker kept tripping, but we got that figured out and still hasn’t tripped again since then.

Hot tub for arthritis joint pain

My husband George has a lot of problems with arthritis. That’s the reason we purchased the Barefoot spa. The 57LP does what we thought it would for his joint pain and soreness. We found one that was the right price, and it is the perfect size for the balcony just where we want it. We didn’t find any other ones this size with the features he wanted. My husband installed it himself and did the wires and all of that. We had to do maintenance on it only once in the five years we’ve owned it.

Missing hot tub filter

I would like to write a review about Barefoot Spas, but I can’t because my spa was delivered today missing a filter, and I cant fill it up or use it yet! I contacted Barefoot Spas and they are sending it to me via UPS from Virginia. I live in Ohio and it could be up to 3 days before I get it. This is unacceptable! I called the delivery driver and he said he does not have any extras with him in his truck. I don’t believe him, and I do not like waiting for things especially after I spent this kind of money! I gave Barefoot Spas every chance to make this right, and now I’m the one stuck waiting THREE DAYS for a filter!!! How is that fair???

I get filters delivered to my house really cheap from Amazon. I haven’t ever contacted the barefoot spa to get a filter. The filters are really expensive at the store. Thats unfortunate they forgot to include a filter when they delivered your spa. Did you ever end up getting it? 3 day shipping from VA to OH isn’t all that bad, but still , it’s no amazon! Hope it all works out for you!

We love our new barefoot spa hot tub

Finally broke down and got the wife a hot tub. It’s been a pleasure owning it. Its a barefoot spa 57LP. It’s a small one like she wanted. It fits really nice on our back patio. It helps with her back pain she has sometimes, and that to me was worth it to go ahead and get it for her. She gets in all the time, and I’m in there more than I thought too. She was right, I really really like the hot tub myself, and more than I thought I would. I started using it now when I get off work. I do a soak for about 20 minutes right when I get home. This barefoot spa hot tub is the most relaxing thing we do now.

Spa Delivery

I am a first time owner for Barefoot spas. I have a two person 57LP. Perfect for me. I can tell Barefoot spas stands by their products as I had one issue with the filter and they took care of me right away.

Only problem was the guy that delivered it didn’t have any help, so I ended up having to pitch in. I’m fine with lifting and what not, but I shouldn’t have to do this, and risk getting pulling my back when I paid money. It would’ve been much better if he had at least one other person with him, but I guess thats not on Barefoot spas. Thats on the delivery guy who I think was a sub contractor anyways.

Barefoot spa hot tub drain

Barefoot Spa owners now for years and years. We got another hot tub from them and it’s working pretty well. Everything has been good this time except there is no drain on the bottom like our old one. You have to take the whole cover off to get to the drain.. so what’s the purpose of the drain? That’s been a little frustrating. My husband had the idea of getting a submersible pump. The kind you buy that goes under water and you hook the hose up to it when its time to drain it. He says it will get all the water out and not leave any down there where you’re feet go like our old one. I think we will do that, and we will see how it works It’s just frustrating because when we bought it we thought it had a drain like our old barefoot spa that you pull out from the side. The power behind the Jets is fantastic however. Lots of bubbles lots of hot water. The power is definitely not lacking and was upgraded since our last one. Overall, we love the tub and it was an upgrade for us.
